I don't know what to do.... As you guys may know I have 2 yorkie puppies. Captain Jack is 14 weeks old. I have had him for almost 2 months. Junie B is 15 weeks old, I have had her for about 3 weeks now. I am feeling overwhelmed with 2 puppies. I also have my english springer spaniel(who is about 40lbs) and my daughters chihuahua in the house. My springer is extremely jealous. He has never tried to hurt the puppies but if they are anywhere near me, he is in my lap.(I am a very petite person, 40lbs is alot of dog to be in my lap!) When it was just 1 puppy with Captain Jack it didn't seem to make him so jealous. When I got Junie B I was thinking that I already have 1 puppy to take care of, 2 won't be much more work! Boy was I wrong! I feel like I am not able to give either one of them the attention that they really need at this age. I find myself gating the puppies in the kitchen more and more.I have been feeling all of this for about 2 weeks now, so I mentioned it to my husband last night. He really suprised me by saying that he was glad that I brought it up because he felt like they where really stressing me out. He was thinking about mentioning it to me, but didn't want to upset me. We have gotten really attached to Junie B already, but are thinking it may be better for her, captain jack, and us if we rehome her. I am conflicted though. I keep telling myself that they won't be in their puppy stage forever. Maybe it will be easier when they get a little older(especially once they are both potty trained). I really don't know what to do????
