Pixel is my first Yorkie, too, and I've found her to be very different to the other dogs I've had in the past. She's wonderful, though, despite the various "issues" (like potty training headaches).
She wasn't terribly aggressive when she was younger (she's only 10 months right now!) but she certainly did like to bite when she played. I kept taking my hands away while telling her "no bite" and promptly distracted her attention with one of the chew toys she could have. It takes constant repetition, but it's worth it.
