Thanks guys for all you advice! Emilio, I like your idea about the potty pan and the pee pee pads. I think I'm going to try that. He's 12 weeks old at the moment, do you think he'll catch on quickly? How long did it take your puppy to get trained? Question about the pee pee pads...how often do you change it? Do you change it everytime he goes pee? Can you use one pad for the whole day? I would think you would easily go through the entire stack in a week or two. Where can I get a ton of pads for a low price?
I know I work long hours, but when I do come home at night I make sure to play with him a lot so he doesn't feel alone. On weekends, I play with him even more. The vet suggested that I don't let him play with other dogs until he's fully vaccinated. He currently has giardia. The vet says it's not life threatening and I just finished giving his last done of Panacur. Once he gets his 16 week shots, that's when I plan on having him socialize with the other dogs at my apartment. |
