These stories are creeping me out! Here's my story, and it's been posted here before...
I moved to a new city for college about 4 years ago. It was over 4 hours from home and I didn't know anyone there. I moved into this old apartment in a building that looked like an old army barracks. I just got a terrible feeling when I went inside. I actually CRIED and called my parents. I was only there for two weeks before I had to get out. I heard noises constantly, but I convinced myself that they were noises from the other apartments. Windows would slam shut when there was no wind. I could hear water running in the bathroom but when I went in there, there was nothing. One afternoon I was taking a nap in my bedroom with my door closed tightly shut and I woke up to my bedroom door flying open, and I was honestly scared stiff... I couldn't move.
My mom came down to help me find a new place to live after I'd been there for a week. She is a complete skeptic about all that kind of stuff. After spending the first night there, she told me she got a weird feeling from the place. She had been sleeping on the couch in the living room and the bathroom light was on with the door open just a sliver. She said she opened her eyes and saw the sliver of light getting bigger and smaller (no windows were open) and she looked and saw the door opening and closing. She had to go turn off the light to pretend it wasn't happening.
