Hi and welcome to YT!!! Congrats on your new pup. I've never tried agility classes/comps either but in my area you need to complete basic training classes before moving onto agility. Mika's a little whirlwind and can charge around our property inside and out no matter what obstacle is in her way
I imagine most yorkies would thoroughly enjoy agility courses
