Absolutely! My parents old house was part of the Underground Railroad. There was also an old Indian village that had been on the property on the riverbank. The burial grounds were very nearby. They were uncovered during the Agnes flood. Strange things were always happening there. We would try to explain them off, laugh at them, keep from being scared. Best one was the toilet flushing in the middle of the night. My brother lives there now and to this day his family have felt "pushes" from behind. I did see a "ghost" - a white, semitransparent, semi-glowing shape one night in the woods near the house. Yep, scared the Holy Bejeepers out of me! This is a very historical area as far as Colonial/Native American history goes. So, yes, I believe 100%. If you do a search, there have been other threads about members' experiences with the supernateral.
