Oh, I know what you mean. Our water was ruining everything. I was worried about the hot water heater and the heating element in the dishwasher. It was ruining the silverware and we were afraid to drink the water. We also had a UV light installed with the system. It kills any bacteria there might be in the water. Our house is new too.
