Just curious, I've ready many threads saying never buy from a pet store. They say they are dogs most likely from puppy mills.

I understand many dogs from rescues are there under different circumstances as well (good or bad).

Could someone clairfy the difference. Just sitting and thinking about it, I thought "no matter where you get your pet, aren't you "rescuing" them and providing them the care and love they deserve"?
