In another post here on YT I wrote how scammers were after my wedding dress. Most of us here are familiar with the "free" Yorkie scammers. Well, now it's reverse. Now I'm selling something, and they are doing the same crap.

For those of you new to selling (or buying), here are some sample scammer emails from different people/email addresses. Notice the similarity? How they want to buy my "item" instead of stating what it is; poor grammar; how they want me to write them immediately, ASAP, and await my response; how they ask for my full name, address, phone number, etc; telling me a courier will pick it up; wanting to pay by certified check or money order even though I say Paypal only; and blessing me. They must think bringing God into the equation with absolve them of scamming me. They also offer extra money too sometimes.

I would like to buy your item which you want to sell on craigslist. I want to know if its still in good conditions for use and also if you can accept a certified check for payment as that is the only way i can have payment to you. The check will be delivered to you via mail just fews days after it has been mailed.

I want you to know that i am ok with the price and i am not going any less for it. The Payment will be mailed before pick up and I'd be so glad if you can sell it to me as i would really love to buy the item as soon as possible. Please don't bother yourself about the pick up, i know a forwarding courier in the state that will take care of it .. you don't need to help load it, they will handle the pick up immediately you inform me that you got your payment and that you have cashed it, then i will contact them to come for the pick up of the item at the pick up location.

Thank you so much for your prompt response.

We have a deal i have contact the shipping
company and they told me they can help, but they
prefer to deal directly with the seller to sort out

all the shipping cost. So i decide to include this
cost on the cashier check or Money order i intend to
send down to you .

When the cashier check or Money order has been cash
all you have to do is to wire the shipping funds to

the shipping company to prepare all export paper in
regard to the shipment since they are also picking
up other item for my company in the State and other
province in Canada.

They will contact you regarding the pick up time and

arrangement. So let me have your name and address
including your contact phone number so send out the
payment to you I will be expecting your reply soon
