I will try not to make this too long. A lady contacted be almost 4 weeks ago wanted to buy the last puppy in the litter. She is from out of state and I sent her pictures and she agreed with the price told me she wanted the puppy but, she also told me she was sending a cashiers check for the entire amount of $800 instead of just a $100 deposit. Which was fine by me. We exchanged emails and I thought I got to know her pretty well. She told me she wanted to get him for her girls they are in grade school so they are not real young.

The problem is she has been telling me for over 2 weeks that she has sent the cashiers check in the mail. I have yet to receive it. I told her she should have at least sent it priority mail instead of regular mail or she could have paid me on pickup. I didn't think I was being that unreasonable. Anyway to make a long story short. I haven't heard from her in a week. I got an email from her last Friday or Saturday telling me again that it should be here in the mail this week. The mail has alreay ran today. Guess what? Nothing. I immediately sent her another email telling her that I needed to hear from her and that if I didn't hear from her or got the cashiers check in the mail by Wed. that I was going to start advertising him again and it would be first come first serve.

She lives in KY but has a nephew that lives in Montgomery, AL that she is also sending money to to deliver him for her. She said that he is a vet. I haven't heard from him either. So I told her to please let me know if she had either changed her mind or found another puppy. That it didn't matter to me one way or the other.

I was just wondering what would you do. I may even if I get her Cashiers Check just send it back to her anyway and try to find a new home for him. For whatever reason I being strung alone. You would think that she was the one selling the puppy and I were the buyer.

I will keep everyone posted if I hear from her about what I decide to do.
