I walked Keoki today and didn't realize it was too hot for him- we normally go on long walks but today we went on a little bit longer one. I gave him water and he drank a whole cup and a half- I then put him in his bag and he threw up ( he has never thrown up before ). I started walking him and he fell over and couldn't get up!!!! I was sooo scared and ran home with him- the same thing happened at home ( falling over )- I tried to give him maple syrup and then ran him over to the vet where i found out he had heatsroke. The vet wondered if he could have been stung by a bee because he says his electrolytes concern him and I need to watch him for the next 2 hours!!!! I feel so bad and am worried about him- He is just laying down, not hungry and drooling ALOT- If anyone has suggestions let me know. I learned my lesson about walking him too long
