...a dog will pee on things to mark it as theirs...esp in a pack...

..I have even seen various dogs mark the same 'toy' as theirs.
Spent the whole day taking turns to claim it..HAHA

.....and some will pee when being submissive...esp when nervous or excited...
...there are 'many reasons' they will pee--but you're quite right to make
sure it isnt a medical reason.
