Lol, that's what we call it too, satisfies the boy's in the family. I use to cut those hairs in an inverted V fashion like a little fan. I got pretty good at it but I learned to love the look of all the hair pulled up. I wished I had started earlier. Some one suggested Petsilk Topknot Gel, for this and it keeps those stray hairs out of the eyes till they grow longer. I love this product, and there is not human hair product that does the same thing. I bought mine on e-bay. Remember don't use it on the whole "Ninja Knot" just on the stray hairs. It's safe for dogs eyes as well, and some human hair products may not be.
