I am a newbie in all rights but I think the color is not as important as the health of the pup. It is my understanding the health problems come from inferrior breeding practices, which are sometimes used to get the colored yorkies. I am not pointing the finger at anyone.
My opinion is that if the health of the pup can be guarenteed to be good then the color should be a bonus if someone wants a different color than what lay people consider normal.

the Biewers and Silver, Tan and multi colored Yorkies that I have seen in pictures on this web site are so beautiful. How could you not love them?

I think eventually as the Biewers and other colors become more predictable from solid bloodlines the standards will change again allowing those colors to be part of the AKC, and other registration processes.

Just My 2 cents..

I love them all they are all just soooo cute.
