We've been able to take a well deserved break for almost 2 years, after all those hurricanes, one after the other. But now is back to normal, patio furniture in, patio furniture out, plants in, plants out, get the generator ready, get gas, can food,that no one eats, but need to be there just in case.This time around we have our very own and very new and very expensive accordion shutters, and will get to use them! Otherwise at this time we had been on a ladder putting the heavy aluminum shutters that for some many hurricanes protected our windows. DH has gone 3 times to the marina
, to make sure his baby (the boat) is fine, we moved it to the Miami River were is safer, all the boats were coming in, docking for a few days can run any where from 200.00 to 400.00 depending on the footage.We were lucky to find a space behind a friends house, free of charge. Now we have only rain, heavy at times, conditions are supposed to deteriorate in the afternoon, so for now we just seat and wait.
