I've had similar situations with my 2 when they were little. Lucy jumped off the couch when she was very young and sprained one of her back legs. I took her to the vet and had it x-ray'd to make sure she would be all right.

She didn't move that leg for over a week and I was terrified. I finally filled the bathtub with warm water, put her in, supported her belly and let her "swim". The exercise was good for her and my vet approved.

You might want to consider this IF your vet approves and your baby doesn't have ligament injuries.

I had the same thing happen with Rebel, but his injury was complicated by LP. He ended up with a torn ligament and had to have the ligament repaired and the LP surgery all at once. Entirely different situation.

I hope your baby is better today - please update after your vet visit.
