 Switching Foods
I have read on this site as well as books that you should switch you "babie" food very gradually. I started the process of swithing food yesterday. I really didn't even "mix" it with the other food, more like just gave a little extra than the norm amount. Yesterday and today I added 1/16th of a cup of Royal Canin Yorkie Puppy formula and Harley loves it. So much so that he will stank and hunt for those pieces and then leave the rest. I leave food out all day and he will literally will go hours before he will eat any of the Purina that is in his bowl. Has anyone had there pet refuse their old food in the process of switching? |
