Hey guys, I give my babies the Grizzly Salmon Oil and they love it. However, since I free feed I'm never sure who's getting the most of it. I just pump some in and they share it. I honestly don't believe any of them are getting the amount that they should. However, I'm not sure how else to give them it. Pia and Paisley don't have dry skin but Snoot and Trixie tend to have issues from time to time.
I have Omega Fish Oil softgels here and I was wondering if these would be safe to give? I'm almost out of the Grizzly Oil and thought about trying these for a change. The bottle I have here says that they are 1000mg. This seems high to me but then again I don't know much about this stuff. When Trixie was a puppy she had dry skin and the vet gave us a bottle of what seems to be the same as these fish oil caps. However, the vet's bottle was $25 and the bottle from Wal-Mart was about $5.
If these are safe, how much would be safe to give? Snoot weighs about 13-15 lbs. and all my girls are under 5 lbs. Thanks for the help guys.
