Last night I made the Chicken Parmesan that's on this month's Bon Appetit cover~ It was DELICIOUS! I would have been happy with a whole lot less cheese on it, but the tomato sauce alone was fabulous! And I made caramelized brussels sprouts (first time making and also yummy), and buttered noodles. Cuban Espresso Creme Brulee for dessert.
Tonite I'm doing the carnitas recipe with a pork shoulder. And will serve it with sliced heirloom tomatos and basil and a cabbage salad. Homemade fresh peach and cinnamon ice cream for dessert.
Tomorrow dh goes back to work for the week, so I'll be back to leftovers and sandwiches probably, LOL.
