The reason she has teeth all over everywhere is because the cleft probably split many of the tooth-buds in half, creating an extra tooth for every one that is affected. This would mean that they could have been displaced to other areas of the palate as well as the gums.

I was told that no teeth would grow in the cleft area but that was wrong. We had a few teeth in very wrong places that simply had to be removed.

I'm not surprised she has the "tooth slivers" in wierd places... just that she has them so early..... 13 days is pretty early for any pup - but as long as it's not bothering her, I guess I won't dwell on it....
