I'll pray for you and Bella. Glad she is recovering. I have a feeling there won't be any scars as the way they do things now, everything is so clean, but it's more important that she is alive and will be ok. My precious 17 month old, Brady, had surgery for luxating patella a month ago and there is no sign of where the incision was. It is amazing. I learned the hard way about not taking them to the vet immediately. Our Yorkie before this one was 13 and had congestive heart failure and collapsed trachea and would cough and wheez which made my heart ache for him. That last time he was wheezing badly on a Friday and I thought it wasn't worse than usual but by Sunday he was really bad and had to take him to the emergency clinic. They put him in an oxygen tent and gave him meds but the vet said it was better to let him go. I held him while she gave him the shot and it was very peaceful but I felt so guilty. My vet said it wasn't my fault and that it was only a matter of time for him because he had been sick for about 3 years. So-00000 no hesitation -- if in doubt take him/her to the vet immediately.
