I don't know, before I read it I was like "what the crap", now that I've read it I kind of understand where she may be coming from. I personally couldn't do it but I could understand someone else wanting/needing to do it, especially after reading why she is wanting to do it... she's just wanting to better the life for her dog. She could just drop him off somewhere or something instead of wanting to make sure he lands in the right hands. Not sure what I'm trying to say
