I make up an entire monthly menu by looking thru all my cookbooks and also making up my own tried and true recipes, then write down all the ingredients I may need to make the months recipes and then go grocery shopping. I never have any days that I'm at a loss for what to fix. The months menu is on the ref. and that way I know if I need to take anything out of the freezer the night before. Not to mention I cut over $150.00 a month off my grocery bill by doing this. It's also for my own peace of mind. I hate always trying to figure out "what" to fix.

Tonight is Chicken apple sausage with fat free vegetarian Biryani curried rice dish. I always add broccoli, more bell peppers and capers to this dish.
