I found that most recipes were bad in other ways, try to be careful with fats, one recipe I read used a large portion of bacon fat, dogs would love it to be sure, but most can't handle fat that well. Also dogs don't have that many taste buds compared to humans, so sugar isn't necessary either, and salt is another big no no. Dog's "taste" through smelling. |
