...I agree, there's always the doomsday sayers, around here I watched people fighting over water because of Edourd(sp?)

My thing is that I'm gonna be ready in case we DO get a big one

, ya know, have my checklist ready and such.
We had to bug out before Rita with 12 rescue/fosters, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
