it is normal for him to still be up at night to pee and it is GREAT that he is waking you... definitely a good sign- he KNOWS he has to pee outside... great job! and he will probably continue to wake you to go for a while yet. You DEFINITELY don't want to scold for peeing/pooing in the house. it is NEVER his fault that he has an accident.. it's yours
you are doing the right thing to take him out and praise like CRAZY when he goes... big party...give him a treat.. but i think you just need to be going out more often... every hour... after every nap and play session... keep it up
it will get better!
