Winston goes to the groomer every 2 weeks and it cost $15.00 each time...he loves his groomer, she is the absolute bestest!!! So, I don't think $40.00 is bad at all if only going every 6 weeks. I good groomer, one you can trust with your most precious possession is worth every penny in my book. I can not thank her enough...she truly understands each and every dog she grooms, and treats them as if they were her own.
