That food doesn't even have that much protein. The food I give mine has twice that. Does your friend who has no dogs realize that good proteins are the most important thing in a dog's diet (unless it's ill)?
That food isn't very well-rated, but as far as the protein thing goes, I'd just tell her to feed her non-existent dog whatever she wanted to feed it, and go about what I was doing.
