I have never thought about fostering and I know it's for this exact reason, I don't think I could even breed. I would want to keep every foster and pup. Everyone tells me I should be the spca because I have taken in so many animals and then found good homes for them, but finding is different from fostering. For me to actually agree to take in a dog and then give it up, I know I couldn't. I think you should do what your heart tells you. There is always a need for foster homes, & just think, you could be doing the best thing for a yorkie who needs to be in a loving home where he can be socialized well and then when he gets a new family he will have an easier time ajusting. It's sad because a lot of fosters come from abused and unwanted homes. I wish I could do it, but I know I couldn't. I could adopt though which is just as nice. Good luck in you decision!
