*sigh* people talking who don't know what they are talking about.. it will drive you nuts
There is NOTHING wrong with a lot of protein for a dog who is healthy. If you think about it- dogs who are fed raw or grainless home cooking (like Layla) basically ALL they are getting is protein and they are ALL very healthy dogs. The only time it is not ok to have large amounts of protein is if you have a dog with liver issues. It sounds like you are doing GREAT by giving him what you are for treats. Just say "thanks" and smile
