She just sent another email.

First, Thank you to everyone who is helping in this rescue effort.

I just received a phone call from Allysia. They are in dire need of help.
They are out of crates and they are still bringing dogs in. There are
pittbulls in with bichons in horse trailers, they are starving - dehydrated. There is no food, no water -- nothing to give these animals food or water in, let alone more help to do it. There is hardly any help - hardly any
veterinarians.

If you can go, please go. The humane society feels there is not enough help because people didn't fax in their paperwork. You can find it at
_www.hsus.org_ (http://www.hsus.org) - you do not have to fax it back, you can take it with you and they will let you in. They are begging for help at Lamar-Dixon where there is literally thousands of animals in need, thousands. They also have forms there that you can fill in.

Allysia is at Lamar-Dixon, in Gonzales - if anyone is out there and can
physically help or deliver meds and supplies, PLEASE - the desperation in her
voice was just horrible.

If anyone is asking, donations can be sent to:

LA SPCA
Lamar-Dixon Expo (impressive place _www.lamardixonexpocenter.com_
(http://www.lamardixonexpocenter.com/) )
9039 St. Landry Road
Gonzalez, LA 70737

or even us

Lucky Stars Kennel
2818 Hampstead-Mexico Road
Hampstead, MD 21074
Be sure to put HURRICANE KATRINA RESCUE in the memo line.
