Bella went in around 8:00. I was able to pick her up by 4:30. She was fine being @home, in my arms, of course. I wonder why some vets want to keep over nite too? Is she very small? I would ask the vet about bringing her home & why they want to keep her there. Good Luck with whatever you decide.
