Do you know what she weighed at birth or when you got her? You can check to see if she is overweight for her birth size by checking the yorkie growth chart.
If she is overweight you may want to discuss her diet with your vet. There is a real risk of allowing them to become overweight as yorkies tend to have knee problems. Carrying more weight than necessary will just place a greater burden on her knees and increase the probability of her having troubles later in life. |
