I think you need to have a good long heart-to-heart talk with your brother. He probably doesn't realize how much this hurt you.
If he's anything like my brother (who is older than me), he says stupid things that hurt me, and doesn't get what the big deal is until I explain it to him. Cause that's how guys are! LOL.
