I feel for you. Sabrina was 4.3 pounds and I was scared and didn't have it done until she was 8 years old. By then they had a different kind of anethisesia to use that wasn't as dangerous to Yorkies. Someone here told me about it, but that was 4 years ago and I can't remember the name. She did really good and I'm so glad I did it. They found cancer in her uterine horns and got it before it got her. I put her in a shirt so she didn't bother the stitches, got a friend to come spend the weekend with me, cried like a baby for my baby, and she milked me for treats all the way home and most of the evening, then she never looked back. Ha - they have our number. My 2nd one, I had it done immediately, and she had no problem either. It's so much better for them if you aren't going to breed them, I'm just a believer. A pregnancy for it itsy's is so dangerous.
Best of luck, let us know how it goes.
