Oh my gosh! I was at work and our alarm company called saying our alarm went off. We have false alarms sometimes - so I assumed it was probably that, but I headed home as fast as I could. My biggest worry is always the BABIES.
As soon as I got out of the car, I could hear the doggies barking and heaved with relief, thinking it was indeed just a false alarm of some kind. But when I got to the kitchen - the window to the backyard had been crow-barred open (even though it was locked), screen removed. They must've heard the alarm and took off without stepping a foot in the house - bc there was my SLR camera sitting right on the kitchen counter.
LUCKILY, we keep Marcel and Wylie in our Master bed/bath - so they were completely unable to run up to the burglars or anything (and I'm sure they would have) - they were safe in a whole different area - THANKFULLY.
So, I am really thankful for alarms and really glad that we do keep our dogs in a small area. I wouldn't care what "stuff" a burglar would take - but I don't know how I would survive them taking my babies.
The police dusted for prints too, but didn't find any they could use. Oh my. What a WEEK. Full Moon tomorrow, people, FULL MOON.
