My brother's dog died in January-we live in Ohio. The ground was too hard when they tried to bury him-he really tried too- just not strong enough I geuss. So- my Mom found a guy in the yellow pages- he's local.He picked up the dog and my Mom and brother followed in a car. They met at the guy's place of business- and when the business was "being done" they were at a local diner having coffee with the guy. After the coffee--they went back and they got the ashes to take home. Growing up we had 3 dogs and they all died in the warmer months. I had never thought of what to do in the winter. Some people leave their pet at the vet. What does the vet do?
