Good for you for bringing him to such great health! I'd guess he might just be excited about eating, like my Wylie - instead of easy-breezy, like my Marcel. And, like you said - spoiled stinky. As long as his weight is appropriate, it sounds like you're feeding what he needs. What about more chewy things to keep him busy?
