We crate Chewie when it's dinner time and we feel like eating on the couch. If he's out of the crate, he will literally perch himself on my shoulder in my face and he'll try to inch closer and closer to what I'm eating. I just tell him NO! right in his face...then he'll jump down after telling him about 2 times. Then he'll usually go grab his bully stick or a toy and lay on my feet until he gets brave enough to try again
