Layla would totally be a shy geeky kid who wants to be in the "in" crowd, and I think she'd bond better with animals than people
I say this because she's very easily intimidated. When we go to the dog park or meet new dogs, she wags her tail but if they come to close she'll go right down to the ground, or even roll over. And geeky because when I take her in the yard, or in my parents' yard, instead of running around playing, she'd much rather walk in a grid of the yard, sniffing every inch and doing her "research"
And I think she wants to be accepted by the other dogs because every once in awhile when other dogs are playing, she'll run along behind them for a couple of minutes, and then decide she wants to come back to me. Oh and as a dog, she likes humans better than other dogs, so I think it would be the opposite if she were human
