Most vets say that the bones are set at about 6 months. My first Yorkie now weighs over 10#. There's no way he was this big at 6 months. He's 16 months now. My puter went down and I had most of my records on it so I don't know for sure how much he weighed but it was most def over 5#. I think like Kimberly said that Yorkies must grow longer than the vets think. Lady was 5 1/2 months and 5# when we got her. So if we go by the bones being set she shouldn't have grown any more. She's 19 months old now and she weighs 6 3/4# now and has since she was a year old. Sylvia
