I think it would be best to run the bile acid test as soon as possible though.
Liver enzymes don't always elevate with liver shunt or MVD.
The liver usually has to be significantly damaged for the enzymes to go up.
While it is very possibly hypo if the corn syrup is helping, there are enough symptoms of ls to get him tested.
Hyperactivity can be normal but there are at least a few reports of it being related to ls. Listlessness is not normal unless it only happened when his sugar dropped.
I just wouldn't be totally convined that it is hypo since he had no other problems before this and he had eaten a couple hours before.
