I have had the same problem with Lola. Her barking is almost out of control, to the point where I can't take it. When she gets mad she goes crazy barking, like when I leave her or something. Also, when other dogs are outside my apt. she starts barking and it will be just as I'm about to fall asleep or something and I'll be startled right up with a rude awakening!

It's almost like nothing will stop her once she barks. The only thing I've found to work a little bit is something I learned on the "Dog Whisperer". If you flip them over on their backs, so that you're the alpha, and they're in complete submission, you can tell them "Quiet" or whatever you like. Hold them there so they become totally submissive. Say it in a calm voice, but stern. I also added my own little technique where I cover her eyes and ears. It seems to help actually. It really calms them down.

However, it seems to be only a temporary solution to the bigger issue. So, I will be checking back to see if anyone else has some more advice! Good luck!! I hope we can figure this out!!
