ARGGG! I really need to find a new vet. So I took Gibson in and she x-rayed his lungs?? She said that his lungs looked fine and that he had not coughed since he had been in her office. I proceeded to explain to her that he sounded really really bad last night and that if he hadn't I would have waited a few days to see if he got better. She gave him a cough suppresant to be on for 7 days. I also had her check his leg since he will walk on it but not run on it. She said that it might be lp but that he would not let her extend his leg to xray it so she could not tell me for certain!! She said that when I get him fixed to have his leg checked out. So what am I supposed to do until then!?! Let him limp around??
Sorry to vent, I just see some responses on here and everyone's vet seems very good. Mine on the other hand never seems to catch anything. $200 later, I walk out the door with only cough syrup and with the worry that he "might" have lp.
