Default Yorkie mix in possible kill shelter. Help him! (Rome, GA)

We are out of our state (GA) on a trip but monitoring some sites for our perfect next Yorkie. To our horror, Petfinder has a Yorkie mix listed in Rome, GA, at "Animal Control" not the Humane Society and the copy on the listing sounds like this baby is in trouble. It sounds like he is in a kill shelter! Hopefully, this link to the poor baby labeled "8d2274,75" will work to the Petfinder page at: Adopt a Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie: 8d2274,75: Petfinder. If not, go to Petfinder, and put in a Georgia zip code. Ours is 30075. Can someone get him? The rescue link is wrong on the Petfinder listing and it is really Animal Control. If not already qualified, according to new rules, a rescue group could take ten days to get him. That may be too long. As the Petfinder page say, "every minute counts." Can someone save this baby before it's too late??? The listing also says, we "unfortunately must make room constantly for too many incoming pets..." Help!
