I finally found out why the dry food is so hard to come by. Apparently, they had a problem with the plant that manufactured the food. The plant was not using organic product. They also had issues with some of the fish that necessitated the recall of two flavors. They shut down production and are changing plants. They are changing their name to plain Timberwolf. It will not longer be marketed as organic. It remains a high quality food with no grains, it just won't be organic, never was.

The distributor hopes to be able to start moving product soon.
Here is my dilemma. At first blush, I was angry that I was lied to and thought I should not patronize this company. The company did not know that the plant was screwing them over. On the other hand, my girls have thrived on the food, organic or not. So, what is best for my girls? If not Timberwolf, what other kibble is grain free and tiny? For now, I will stick with the Timberwolf. I got a sample of Solid Gold that is smaller kibble, but it has grain in it (no wheat or corn). Is this good? Is there another organic grain-free kibble out there?
