I wouldn't describe screamo as HEAVY DEATH METAL music, its just a certain type of punk/emo style music. Screamo music isn't someone CONSTANTLY screaming like some might think. Its definitely considered rock/alternative tho and there's only a certain type I'll listen to... some of it is too heavy for me.
There are actually a few bands that are 'screamo' that I like and one that ive seen in concert and I don't even wear all black and look like a freak, I'm your typical girl next door with a YORKIE! haha I like a lot of different types of music... Country is my number one so you can say I like many genres of music.
