That should be a long enough "pee string" - that's about what my guys have. I don't shave their bellies at all bc I worry about it being itchy. I do trim their bellies though. I just looked at Marcel - and noticed that some of the fine, longer hairs on his belly - just outside his MANliness also seem to absorb a bit of pee too. So, maybe if you leave some wispy hair, trimmed a bit, surrounding his area - it will have less a chance of going further.
It seems to me that when we used to trim more - the more it would get on their arms. It's weird.
