What are the options of getting the hair knot out that it too close to the eyes? I believe it will have to be cut . I have noticed she has very long lashes too, and at times, she paws at her face. I think she is uncomfortable, and that breaks my heart.
Does a professional groomer just trim out any bad knots ? I do not know anything about grooming, and it is hard to even brush my puppy at times, but i do the best that I can. She is not full of knots, I have just observed a couple , and am aware that Suzi tends to get them on her legs sometimes too.

It's kind of hard to get knots by their eyes. I think it might be gunk that is caught up there. Try a warm wash cloth with some baby shampoo and wash her face then take a small comb and comb the gunk out.
