The hair at the end of his shaft is about an 1.5" long, I shave him from his rib cage area down in a rectangle ( the way a female dog would get shaved for a spay.) Some how he still will get his arms wet. I think it is the way he hikes his leg when he pees, I don't know how he does not flip him self over. I think he is trying his best to cover as much as my bxer does.
